The Queen City Home Store had a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony Monday, July 23 at 9 a.m. Members of the Town of Pineville, including Mayor Jack Edwards, and media representatives were onsite to welcome Queen City to the neighborhood. Coffee and light refreshments were provided, as well as, opportunities to privately view the store and talk to the family of this privately-owned business.
On Thursday, July 26, Queen City Home Store is hosting Furniture, Fashion & Food. A free event that is open to the public from 6 – 8 p.m. Come out and enjoy a full-filled evening of fashion and food while you browse the new Queen City Home Store. The fashion show is being sponsored by ALTA of Rock Hill. ALTA will have informal modeling throughout the evening and a trunk show with the latest in summer fashions and accessories. A full array of food and drinks will be prepared by Chef Blake Mitkoff of Inside Chef. Representatives from Miele will also be on-site to provide a live cooking demonstration. Guests will be able to participate in a silent auction with items ranging from appliances, furniture, a 3-day cruise and private dinner with a professional chef. All proceeds from the auction will go to Moped2Memphis a non-profit organization supporting St. Jude’s. Guests are encouraged to RSVP to be entered for special door prizes. Saturday, July 28 from noon – 3 p.m., Queen City Home Store in Pineville is hosting a Family Fun Day. Bring the kids out to play in a bounce house, enjoy some Pelican snow cones and more. There will also be some contest for the kids inside the store. No RSVP is necessary for this event.
