Woman Stabbed In Northeast Charlotte Claims She Knew Her Attacker

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A woman was stabbed outside of a home in northeast Charlotte late Monday.

CMPD officers were called around 10 p.m. to the 1200 block of Effingham Drive near Tuckaseegee Road where they located an adult female stabbed outside a vacant home.

The woman went inside the home where police found her. She was called in by a neighbor, officials say.

The woman was transported by Medic to CMC Main and is in stable condition.

The victim told police she knew her attacker.

No arrests have been made yet.
