Mooresville Police Seeking ‘Armed And Extremely Dangerous’ Man Involved In Shooting

MOORESVILLE, N.C. — The Mooresville Police Department continues actively searching for a man involved in a shooting at a Circle K gas station on Saturday evening, July 21st.

The suspect, Gercobe Arnell McClain Jr., 31, has been accused of firing a gun with apparent intent to kill at the gas station in the 300 block of S. Main St. in Mooresville.

McClain faces charges including two counts of assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill, possession of a firearm by a felon and injury to personal property, according to officials.

Police believe McClain is “armed and extremely dangerous.”
