Search Underway For Suspects Who Robbed Pizza Delivery Driver In Rock Hill

ROCK HILL, S.C. — A pizza delivery man was robbed at a Rock Hill apartment complex late Wednesday night.

An officer with the Rock Hill Police Department was called around 11 p.m. to 1389 E. Main Street where an armed robbery occurred involving a Papa John’s Pizza delivery driver.

The driver was attempting to deliver a pizza at 1350 Cypress Point Drive, Apt. 204, when he saw two, black men in the breezeway. The driver told police the two males came up to him, one with a stun gun. Both took his work money worth $101, $45 out of his wallet and the pizza he was carrying. Immediately after, the men ran off.

The suspects are said to be in their 20s or 30s. One has short hair and the other wears dreads.

It is unknown if the robbers live in the apartment complex.

Officers checked the apartment, which appeared to be vacant. Dispatch verified through utilities there was no power or water connected to the apartment.

The case is under investigation as police search for the suspects.
