MONROE, NC — A $25,000 reward is now being offered to help solve a fatal hit and run case on Saturday, July 21st that left one cyclist dead.
The reward is being offered through a partnership between Union County Crime Stoppers and Cyril Bath. Cyril Bath is offering $20,000 of the reward for information that leads to the arrest of the driver responsible for hitting and killing Jeff Masingill on Rocky River Road near Newton Road.
Masingill was an executive at Cyril Bath.
Jeff Mitteer, spokesman for Cyril Bath said, “Jeff was a dynamic leader of our company, whose impact will be ongoing. We just want to help bring some closure to this tragedy for his family as well as the Cyril Bath family.”
Investigators with the NCHP say so far, they do not have any leads, evidence, or witnesses to the deadly accident.
