Colleges Looking At Your Social Media Accounts
When applying to college, schools aren’t just judging you off your grades, they’re also looking at what you post on social media. According to a recent study by Kaplan Test Prep, 70% of admissions officers agree it’s fair game to check student’s social media. Almost 30% of officers use students online profiles when making decisions.
UNC Charlotte said they do use social media as a way to learn more about their applicants.
