Printable Guns: 2nd Amendment Right or Seriously Nuts?

CHARLOTTE, NC — A federal judge in Seattle has issued a temporary restraining order to stop the release of blueprints to make untraceable and undetectable 3D-printed plastic guns.

Without the restraining order, Americans could have started downloading plans for the guns at midnight.

Eight Democrat attorney generals filed a lawsuit Monday seeking to block the federal government’s settlement with Defense Distributed, the company that makes the plans.

21 state attorney generals also sent a letter to Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and Attorney General Jeff Sessions asking the government to withdraw from the settlement.

In a tweet Monday morning, President Trump said making 3D plastic guns available to the public “doesn’t seem to make much sense.”

Tonight’s EDGE question is… Are printable guns a 2nd Amendment right or just plain nuts?
