Warrants Issued For Suspects Wanted In Matthews CVS Armed Robbery

Mattews Police have issued warrants for three suspects wanted in connection to a CVS armed robbery on July 12th.

The suspects have been identified as Montre Barrino, 18, Jaelin Crowder, 20, and Jelani Dye, 18. Officials say the suspects were identified thanks to a joint investigation by Matthews Police and Greensboro Police Departments involving similar crimes committed throughout the Greensboro area.

All three men were recently arrested for a robbery in Greensboro, according to police, but only Barrino and Crowder remain in Guilford County custody.

Barrino and Crowder are each charged with two counts of Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon, Conspiracy to Commit Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon, and 2nd Degree Kidnapping.

Dye is charged with Conspiracy to Commit Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon.

Police say the men are still being investigated for possible ties to several other commercial robberies throughout the region.

MATTHEWS, NC — Police are looking for two suspects and potential witness after a CVS was robbed overnight Thursday.

Police say two armed suspects entered the store at 1305 Matthews Township Parkway around 3:41am. Employees told detectives the suspects held them at gunpoint while demanding money.

No one was injured during the robbery.

The suspects are described as black males, roughly 5 feet 11 inches tall, medium builds, wearing all dark clothing, masks, and gloves.

Police are also looking for a possible witness to the crime, who they say was the last customer to exit the store before the robbery occurred. He is described as a black male wearing dark colored pants, a purple shirt, purple head covering or hat, and white shoes.
