TSA Considers Ending Screens At Small Airports

TSA is considering allowing 10,000 people to fly daily without going through security. The agency is floating around the idea of ending screens at 150 small airports around the country.Β  It argues smaller plans aren’t attractive to terrorists. But security analysts argue TSA is following into a trap by thinking terrorism is the biggest security threat. They bring up the issue of guns and other weapons.

Two of the 9/11 attackers first flew from Portland and likely thought the airport would be less secure because of it’s small size. Hearing the TSA is considering skipping some of the screenings, do you feel safe?
