Panthers’ Social Media Drops Hints About Midfield Logo
The Carolina Panthers were back in action at Bank of America Stadium Friday night.
It was the first Fan Fest under new team owner David Tepper.
Tepper hasn’t made any big changes since taking over in July, but the Panthers have hinted that there is one change he could make before the season starts.
Under former owner Jerry Richardson there has always been a NFL shield on the 50 yard line instead of the team logo.
The Panthers teased fans on Tuesday, when the team tweeted video of Tepper walking on the un-marked field, but near the 50 yard line.
The caption: “Wonder what Tepper could be talking about at midfield???”
Panthers spokesman Steven Drummond replied to the tweet, hinting that Tepper will replace the NFL shield with a big Panthers logo by writing, “Hopefully more blue, black and silver — and less red!”
