TROUTMAN, NC — A Sherrills Ford man is charged with breaking into and stealing from multiple vacant homes in the Sorrel Lane area. The crimes reportedly happened between June 24 and July 19.
Deputies say residents identified 34-year-old Jeremy Owens as the suspect after reporting several break-ins at vacant homes along the street.
According to the reports, Owens was allegedly seen going in and out of the homes on several occasions. Deputies say witnesses also saw him leaving the area with stolen property.
Owens is charged with three counts each of Felony Breaking and Entering and Felony Larceny After Breaking and Entering.
