CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The Charlotte-Meckelnburg Police Department is asking for assistance locating Steven Lee Wheeler, who is wanted for cutting off his electronic monitoring device.
The CMPD says Wheeler, 19, is charged with Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon, Conspiracy to Commit Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon, Damage to Property, and Interfering with an Electronic Monitoring Device.

Wheeler was ordered to wear an electronic monitoring device as a condition of his pre-trial release. He cut off his electronic monitor on August 12th, 2018 and was last known to be in the 1400 block of Oakdale Road in Charlotte.
