SALISBURY, NC — Officials from the Department of Justice spoke to members of the community Tuesday evening following a recent review of Salisbury Police Department’s capabilities and efforts fighting violent crime.
The review was done at the request of Salisbury PD to help figure out better ways to combat a recent increase in violent crime throughout the area.
The study took an in-depth look at frequency, location, and types of crimes reported. That data was also compared to trends both nationally and locally.
