Adopt A Dog At Your Favorite Local Breweries For Animal Kneads Day!

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Great Harvest Bread Company plans to host their 12th Annual Animal Kneads Day, bringing adoptable dogs from CMPD Animal Care and Control to a few participating local breweries.

All donations support the Spay & Neuter Program, in order to provide options for free surgery to those Mecklenburg County residents unable to pay for the correct treatment for their pets on their own.

Donations of $10 toward the program get participants their own loaf of Great Harvest Bread. Over the years, Animal Kneads Day and its preliminary mobile fundraising events has gathered approximately $126,000, 100% of which benefits AC&C’s spay/neuter surgery clinic.

This year, the fundraiser itself takes place on Sunday, August 26th from 10 AM to 5 PM at 901 South Kings Drive in Charlotte.

If you are unable to attend the event, Great Harvest Bread Company and AC&C are organizing three adoption events at local Charlotte breweries prior to the fundraiser. Sycamore Brewing will host one of these mobile events on August 16th, as well as Catawba Brewing Co. on August 17th and Thirsty Nomad Brewing Company on August 24th.

So, from 6 PM to 9 PM on these dates, head out to the patio and enjoy your local brew alongside these adorable pups — and maybe even take one home with you!
