STATESVILLE, NC — A man is facing charges after a woman says she came home Thursday afternoon and found him in her home. Warrants have been issued on Davonta Rankin, 23, charging him with Felony Breaking and Entering and Felony Larceny after Breaking and Entering. 
Iredell County investigators say the woman came back to her Chesnut Grove Road home around 12:15pm and found a man, later identified as Rankin, inside. Warrants have been obtained for his arrest, but officials have not yet been able to locate him.
Rankin is also accused of breaking into another home on Wallace Springs Road. Investigators say he has outstanding warrants for two counts of Felony Breaking and Entering, two counts of Larceny after Breaking and Entering, Felony Larceny of a Firearm, and Felony Attempted Breaking and Entering of a Building.
