ROWAN COUNTY, NC — A former teacher at J.C. Carson High School in China Grove is facing several charges involving students.
Jason Dellinger, 30, of Mooresville is charged with three counts of Indecent Liberties with a Student by a School Guardian.
According to reports, investigators with the China Grove Police Department began looking into the allegations at the end of July, but the investigation was taken over by the Rowan County Sheriff’s Office at the beginning of August due to jurisdictional concerns.
Detectives say Dellinger was inappropriately conversing and emailing several students.
He has been released on a $25,000 bond.
