CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A serious crash has shut down three lanes on I-85 NB on Monday.
The 6-car crash involving an 18-wheeler occurred on I-85 NB just before Brookshire Boulevard at Exit 36 and resulted in injuries.
The roads will be closed for at least an hour as crews clear the scene.
Drivers are asked to avoid the area and use I-485 from I-85 to I-77 or Wilkinson Boulevard to I-77 as alternate routes.
