CONNELLY SPRINGS, NC — A Burke County man is facing drug charges after he allegedly dropped a bag of meth while talking to deputies.
Officials say they encountered 29-year-old Robert Fox just before 2am on August 7th while responding to a call about suspicious activity at the intersection of Highway 70 and Texas Fish Camp Road.
Fox was reportedly being questioned by deputies when they say he dropped a small plastic bag on the ground. The bag, according to authorities, contained methamphetamine.
Fox is charged with Felony Possession of Schedule II Substance.
