Community Rallies To Mark Anniversary Of Crystal Morrison’s Disappearance
CONCORD, NC — Hope. That’s what is pushing family and friends of a missing Concord woman forward.
Crystal Morrison vanished six years ago today while walking home from work. Thursday, dozens rallied to mark the anniversary of her disappearance.
They held signs with Crystal’s picture, and passed out flyers.
“I wake up every day wondering what happened to her, where she?” says Crystal’s best friend Lacey Castro.
On August 23, 2012, Crystal vanished after leaving work at Connexxions Recruiting in Concord. She was last seen at 12:45 pm at International Drive and Davidson Highway and after years of chasing leads, nothing.
“The main thing is that we go on faith that we try to make sure that Crystal‘s face and picture is always out there every year and hopefully sometime some where in the near future someone will come forward,” says Crystal’s father Richard Morrison.
Family and friends say they aren’t giving up and believe Crystal will come home.
“I think, regardless of what people tell me, I think she’s alive and I think we just need to find her because there’s no evidence to support otherwise,” says Castro.
Crystal would now be 37-years-old.
