GASTONIA, NC — A bank was robbed Thursday morning in Gaston County, and police are still searching for a suspect.
The Fidelity Bank at 2933 Union Road was robbed around 10:30 this morning. Police say a white male suspect escaped in a black 2000 Honda Accord before officers could arrive.
The car was later found on abandoned on White Pond Drive. Police say the car was reported stolen around 10am from a BP gas station on Bessemer City Road.
