Police Release Video, Photos Of Suspect Wanted In July Burglary Case

CHARLOTTE, NC — CMPD is looking for the man they say burglarized several units at an east Charlotte storage facility.

The burglaries were reported around 9:25am on July 2nd at Extra Space Storage on North Wendover Road. Investigators say the break-ins happened sometime between June 17 and July 2.

Roughly half-a-million dollars worth of property was reported stolen from three units.

According to police, the suspect picked the locks on the units, loaded up the property in a U-Haul truck, placed the locks back on the units and locked them back.

The suspect may also be responsible for a similar break-in at the Extra Space Storage on South Tryon Street, according to police.
