CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Three men with a gun robbed a fast food restaurant in SouthPark on Tuesday.
According to Charlotte Mecklenburg police officers, three male suspects entered the Burger King at 4709 Sharon Road around 9:30 p.m. and robbed the business. At least one of the robbers was armed with a handgun.
Two employees were assaulted by the suspects. They received non-life threatening injuries from being shoved. Two customers were also inside the Burger King during the armed robbery.
No arrests have been made at this time as police are searching for the suspects.
The incident is under investigation.
