CHARLOTTE, NC — Police are investigating a shooting that sent two people to the hospital in north Charlotte Wednesday night.
The shooting happened around 8:50pm behind a home on Brushwood Drive. Officials say the victims and suspects knew each other.
One man was shot in the leg, according to police, and another was hit in the arm. Both victims were transported with non-life threatening injuries.
CMPD says two men have been taken into custody in connection to the shooting. A third suspect was also taken into custody on an outstanding warrant for his arrest.
No other suspects are wanted at this time. Police say the names of the suspects will be released once they have been formally charged.
