GASTONIA, N.C. — Police say a man was killed after being hit by a train in Gastonia. Officers were called to scene at Hancock Street and East Airline Avenue around 9am Wednesday morning.
Witnesses say the railroad arms were already down at the time the man walked across the tracks. The man has been identified as 57-year-old Morgan London.
