CHARLOTTE, N.C. — More than 700 marines are coming to Charlotte in honor of Marine Week.
Starting today, marine pilots will start landing helicopters in First Ward Park between 10 a.m. and noon.
Over 75 free events are planned for tomorrow through Sunday.
The idea behind Marine Week is to connect people with our brave marines who fight endlessly to keep us safe and protect our country.
