Walgreens Armed Robbery Suspect Wanted By Police

HICKORY, NC — Police are looking for a man they say robbed a Walgreens Tuesday night at gunpoint.

The robbery happened around 9:37pm at the store on Springs Road NE. Authorities say the suspect, a thin black male, roughly 6 feet tall, wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt, dark pants and dark shoes, entered the store with a  handgun and demanded money.

Police say the suspect was last seen on foot going west on 24th Street NE.
