LINCOLNTON, N.C. β A Catawba man is facing charges after deputies say he sexually assaulted a female child several years ago.
Lincoln County deputies have charged 65-year-old Randy White with one felony count of taking indecent liberties with a female child when he lived in eastern Lincoln County.
The victim told officers the incidents occurred when she was between four and a half years old and seven years old.
White and the female victim knew each other, authorities say. White admitted to officers that he inappropriately touched the victim when she was seven years old only.
White was taken before a magistrate on Thursday and placed in the Harven A. Crouse Detention Center under a $25,000 secured bond. He will appear in court today, September 7.
