Charlotte’s Annual Greek Festival Offers An Authentic Taste Of Culture And History

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — It’s that time of year again for fall fairs and festivals! It’s also that time of year when everyone can be Greek!

Thousands of people are attending the 41st annual Yiasou Greek Festival- one of the Queen City’s largest cultural events.

The festival located at 600 East Boulevard began on Thursday and runs through Sunday and features Hellenic cultural exhibits, authentic Greek cuisine, homemade pastries, entertainment, live music, dancing, art and much more!

People say the food is what brings them out each year. There is nothing like the delicious baklava sundaes the festival offers! Once your stuffed, you can take a tour of the Cathedral.

The Greek Fest also has a drive-thru if you don’t have time to stop in for food.
