CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Carowinds’ Fury 325 has been named Best Steel Coaster for the third year in a row.
Amusement Today presented the Golden Ticket Award to the 325 foot tall ride that reaches a speed of 95 miles per hour with over a mile of track.
Fury 325 crisscrosses the Carolinas and has won top honors at the Golden Ticket Awards since its debut in 2015, when it won Best New Ride.
The Intimidator, which opened in 2010, was also recognized as a favorite.
Carowinds’ newest coaster, Copperhead Strike, is set to open in the spring of 2019.
