Wells Fargo Robbery Suspect Wanted By CMPD, FBI
CHARLOTTE, NC — CMPD and the FBI are looking for a suspect wanted in connection to a Wells Fargo robbery in northeast Charlotte.
The crime happened around 10:40am at the bank located at 8700 JM Keynes Drive. Police say the suspect handed the teller a note demanding money and then took off.
Surveillance pictures released by CMPD show a black male suspect, between 5’10” and 5’11” tall, and roughly 170-190 pounds. The suspect was last seen wearing a black hoodie, black pants with a white design on one leg, dark colored sunglasses, and Nike sneakers (possibly Jordan brand). Witnesses also say he had acne on his cheeks and large ears.
According to investigators, the same suspect may have been responsible for another Wells Fargo robbery on August 25th. That bank was located on NC 49 South in Harrisburg.
