Lime Is Scooting Out Of The Way For Hurricane Florence

CHARLOTTE, NC — Lime announced Tuesday that they are pulling their scooters and bicycles off the streets in preparation for Hurricane Florence.

Lime’s spokeswoman, Mary Caroline Pruitt released the following statement:

“In the interest of safety, Lime is proactively removing our scooters and bikes off the streets as well as alerting our juicers and riders in communities that could be impacted by Hurricane Florence.

Lime has been closely monitoring the hurricane, and will continue to track the storm’s path to ensure we are doing whatever we can to help our local communities stay safe.

We strongly urge everyone in the regions expected to be impacted to be vigilant and pay close attention to guidance from their local authorities.”

Hurricane Florence is expected to make landfall in the Carolinas later this week.
