We’ve All Been Saying Chrissy Teigen’s Name Incorrectly

Chrissy Teigen admits that she’s been letting fans mispronounce her last name for years.
Someone on Twitter pointed it out this weekend and Chrissy responded, writing: ‘Gave up a long time ago. Last name is Tie-gen not Tee-gen.’
She even shared a video of herself pronouncing it correctly for anyone who needs a tutorial and got her own mother to vouch for her.

CNN reporter Omar Jimenez, who regularly reports for WCCB, responded, writing: ‘As someone who also gets his name mispronounced all the time, this is beyond me.’
Chrissy shot back: ‘I don’t correct people, ever. They can call me Janet and I won’t. Wrong order? I’ll eat it. Taxi going to the wrong airport? I’ll change my flight.’
