UPDATE:
Around 9:40 a.m. on Monday, deputies with the Rowan County Sheriff’s Office found the body of 44-year-old Stacey Jethroe who went missing on Sunday, Sept. 9th.
Deputies tracked down her 2014 gray Honda off Old Cress Road in Rowan County after a citizen spotted it parked on a long service road near a large corn field.
Deputies responded to the area and located Jethroe who had committed suicide.
Friends and family of Jethroe were notified of her death.

SALISBURY, N.C. — Rowan County deputies are searching for 44-year-old Stacy Jethroe of Salisbury.
Deputies say Stacy was reported missing on Sunday, Sept. 9th from her home on York Road. She was last seen on Wednesday, Sept. 5th at her job in China Grove. At the time, Stacy had been driving a 2014 Gray Honda Civic with tag number TPD9498.
Stacy is 150 pounds, 5’8” in height and has brown hair and hazel eyes.
