STATESVILLE, NC — A man was arrested early Friday morning when Statesville Police Department Narcotics Investigators executed search warrants on his S. Tradd Street home.
Travis Morrison’s home was raided around 9:45am. Investigators say search warrants were served as part of a long investigation into citizen complaints regarding alleged drug use and sales taking place at the home.
According to reports, detectives seized two handguns, roughly 18 grams of crack cocaine, marijuana and cash during the search.
Morrison, 35, is charged with Possession with Intent to Sell and Distribute Cocaine, Possession of Firearm by Felon, and Felony Maintaining a Dwelling.
Officials say Morrison has a multiple drug and weapon related charges dating back to 2008.
