GASTONIA, NC — A Gaston County high school student is facing charges after police say he made a hit list and threatened fellow students and teachers.
Hunter Bazzle, 17, is a student at Forestview High School in Gastonia. Gaston County Police say Bazzle was arrested after allegedly telling several students he was going to shoot specific teachers and students at the school.
He did not have a weapon on him at the time of his arrest, according to authorities.
Bazzle appeared in court Wednesday on a felony charge of Making a False Report of Mass Violence on Educational Property, and was assigned a public defender. His next court date is scheduled for October 9.
