13-Year-Old Charged With Series Of Armed Robberies, Including 2 Shootings

CHARLOTTE, NC — A 13-year-old juvenile has been charged in connection to a series of Charlotte armed robberies.

The crimes took place between September 2 and 15. Officials say the juvenile male was identified as the suspect and taken into custody.

The crimes took place as follows:

September 2 – 8:03pm – The suspect robbed a food delivery driver at gunpoint on Griffith Street.

September 10 – 9:35pm – The suspect shot the victim during an attempted armed robbery on South Tryon Street.

September 11 – 9:13pm – The suspect shot the victim during an armed robbery at the South Tryon Wireless and Fashion on South Tryon Street.

September 13 – 10:19pm – The suspect robbed a food delivery driver at gunpoint on Griffith Street.

September 15 – 4:18pm – The suspect robbed My-T Barber Shop on Remount Road.

The juvenile is charged with four counts of Armed Robbery with a  Dangerous Weapon, three counts Conspiracy to Commit Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon, two counts Assault with a Deadly Weapon Inflicting Serious Injury, and Attempted Armed Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon.
