Novant Health: How St. Jude is Changing Pediatric Cancer Patient’s Lives

CHARLOTTE, NC — The St. Jude Affiliate Clinic at Novant Health Hemby Children’s Hospital offers children and young adults the highest quality of care with compassion and dedication. September is pediatric cancer awareness month, and treatments at St. Jude have helped push the overall childhood cancer survival rate from 20 percent when the hospital opened in 1962 to more than 80 percent today.

We spoke with Dr. Randy Hock, a pediatric oncologist who cares for patients at the affiliate clinic right here in Charlotte.
