Gardner-Webb Partners with Community to Provide Hurricane Relief

Gardner-Webb University is partnering with community organizations to supply relief items to areas damaged by Hurricane Florence. The GWU Office of Christian Life and Service has arranged for the campus to serve as a collection site for Turner Trucking, who will deliver the supplies to areas devastated by the storm.

The items may be brought to the lobby of Tucker Student Center, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., beginning on Monday, Sept. 24. Donations will be accepted until Wednesday, Oct. 31.

“As a university family, we want to help in any way we can,” noted Teresa Davis, administrative assistant for the Office of Christian Life and Service. “We want to serve as a place where people can drop off items, and we will get them to the people who need them.”
