Man Charged With Making False Bomb Threat At Epicenter

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A man has been charged with making a false bomb threat following an incident at the Epicenter in Charlotte early Sunday morning.

Rayshon Javor Duncan, 29, is charged with Perpetrating a Hoax Device and Making a False Bomb Threat after police say he made a disturbance and said he had a bomb in a bag.

Officers responded to the area at  about 1:09 a.m. on Sunday morning and detained Duncan.  The bomb quad was notified after the bag was located and the Epicenter was evacuated as a precaution.

Bomb squad members used a robot to examine the bag and determined it was not dangerous.
