Parents Concerned Over Spotlight Day At School

Some parents in a Louisiana School District are upset over a school spirit week event… that they say encourages bullying and stresses kids into having relationships. One day of spirit week was ‘stoplight day’. That means students wear green, yellow or red to signify their relationship status. Green means single… red means taken… and yellow means it’s complicated. Kids from 6th grade through high school were all involved.
