CHARLOTTE, N.C. — More than a month after 21-year-old Torriano Devonte Joyce was shot to death in west Charlotte, CMPD is still seeking information on a possible suspect.
Officers responded to a call for service in the 4600 block of Palm Breeze lane at around 1:30 a.m. on Sunday, August 26th. Police say they found Joyce suffering from a gunshot wound.
Medic transported Joyce to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
CMPD says a house party was taking place when the shooting happened, but information is still limited.
Anyone who attended the party and may have information on the shooting or a possible suspect is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 704-334-1600. Officials say a $5,000 cash reward is now being offered for information leading to an arrest.
