Novant House Call: Keeping Young Athletes In The Game And Out Of The Doctor’s Office

CHARLOTTE, NC — Novant Health stops by to talk about common sports injuries, and how to stay on the field and out of the doctor’s office.

With temperatures dropping, fall sports like football and cheerleading can put a lot of wear and tear on a young athlete’s body. Dr. Eric Warren from Novant Health stops by with more information on common and not so common injuries athletes can face, and what they can do to stay in the game and out of the doctor’s office.

Novant Health also offers “Black and Blue Clinics,” which are open both Friday night and Saturday morning. These clinics allow athletes to get the care they need after hours and without an appointment.
