Lincolnton, NC – A Stanley man was sentenced after pleading guilty on felony child sexual assault charges in connection with incidents that occurred between January and December of 2016.
On July 2, 2017 the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office received a report regarding a sexual assault of a child.
The victim who was reportedly nine years old at the time, and said to be related to the suspect, was interviewed at the Lincoln County Child Advocacy Center where she disclosed the sexual assaults.
Detectives interviewed the suspect identified as, Gilbert Donald List, Jr., 67, on July 12, 2017 and reportedly admitted to the incidents.
List was found guilty on two felony counts of taking indecent liberties with a child and was sentenced to 15 to 27-months in prison.
