ROCK HILL, S.C. — A woman is dead and several are injured after a fire ripped through a home in Rock Hill on Saturday.
The Rock Hill Fire Department and Rock Hill Police Department were called around 12:30 a.m. to 1025 Southland Drive where a home went up into flames.
Once firefighters arrive, they worked to get two adults and five children out of the home.
According to the York County Coroner’s Office, one of the adults, 35-year-old Yolanda Robinson, died as a result of the fire. An autopsy was conducted Sunday.
The other six people are being treated for injuries they sustained in the fire.
The Rock Hill Fire Department and the State Law Enforcement Division are investigating what caused the blaze.
