Police Arrest Two Suspects In String Of Armed Robberies

CHARLOTTE, NC — CMPD has charged two suspects for three September armed robberies.

The crimes all reportedly happened on the night of September 10th. Police say James Alexander, 30, and Dedric McManus, 20, were arrested Friday in connection to these crimes.

Each suspect has been charged as follows:

SouthPark Mall Armed Robbery:

  • Alexander and McManus are each charged with two counts of Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon, two counts of Second Degree Kidnapping and Conspiracy to Commit Armed Robbery.

Domino’s Armed Robbery:

  • Alexander and McManus are each charged with Attempted Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon, Conspiracy to Commit Armed Robbery and Second Degree Kidnapping.

Burger King Armed Robbery:

  • Alexander and McManus are each charged with Attempted Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon and Conspiracy to Commit Armed Robbery.
