Girl Scouts Host Food Drive To Benefit Second Harvest Food Bank Of Metrolina

MATTHEWS, N.C. — The Girl Scouts Hornets’ Nest is hosting a food drive that will benefit the Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina.

Members of the Girl Scouts will be dropping off bags in every neighborhood in Matthews on October 6th.  The Girl Scouts will then come back on October 13th at 9am to collect the filled bags.

If you want to donate food but don’t live in the Matthews area you can bring your non-perishable food items to Cross & Crown Lutheran Church at 300 Pineville-Matthews Road on October 13th between 10am-1pm.

Monetary donations are also needed.  Donations will go directly to Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina.  Click HERE to make your donation.
