Women Arrested After Attempted Larceny

STATESVILLE, NC– On Thursday, deputies with the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office responded to a breaking and entering call at a residence.

The victim reportedly told deputies, he located a female inside of his detached garage hiding behind items but when he confronted her she fled on foot.

During the investigation detectives say they discovered a bag which had been filled with several items from the garage including a paintball gun and paint ball accessories.

While speaking with neighbors, detectives received a call that a female matching the description of the suspect was seen just a few minutes prior in the woods on Dagenhart Farm road.

Authorities then began to search the area and were able to locate the suspect in a wooded area less than a mile from the victim’s residence.

Detectives were able to identify the female as Tiffany Mae Jones, 31.

Jones was arrested and charged with Felony Breaking and Entering, and Felony Attempted Larceny.
