GoFundMe Established For Concord Firefighter Seriously Injured In Off-Duty Accident

CONCORD, NC — A GoFundMe account has been established for a Concord firefighter who was seriously injured in a motorcycle accident Tuesday morning.

Ray Elmore, the Assistant Chief at Cool Springs Fire Department in Iredell County and a Firefighter with the City of Concord, was seriously injured around 7am while on his way to work.

Officials say Elmore’s leg has been amputated as a result of the accident. He also reportedly suffered a severe injury to his left arm, as well as injuries to his pelvis and trachea.
