CONCORD, NC — A GoFundMe account has been established for a Concord firefighter who was seriously injured in a motorcycle accident Tuesday morning.
Ray Elmore, the Assistant Chief at Cool Springs Fire Department in Iredell County and a Firefighter with the City of Concord, was seriously injured around 7am while on his way to work.
Officials say Elmore’s leg has been amputated as a result of the accident. He also reportedly suffered a severe injury to his left arm, as well as injuries to his pelvis and trachea.
The Cool Springs Fire Department has established a GoFundMe account to help Elmore and his family cover medical expenses. Anyone wishing to make a donation can do so by clicking here.
