Suspected Union County Brothers Arrested On Multiple Drug Charges

INDIAN TRAIL, NC — Union County deputies arrested two suspected brothers Thursday night after seizing drugs and cash from a home in the Meriwether subdivision.

Detectives executed a search warrant at the Astoria Drive home, and say they located more than 127 grams of cocaine, over $2,400 in cash and marijuana.

Quayshawn Witherspoon, 27, and Jalen Witherspoon, Jr., 24, believed to be brothers, were both arrested following the search.

Jalen is charged with Possession with Intent to Sell and Deliver Marijuana and Possession of Marijuana.

Quayshawn is charged with two counts of Trafficking Cocaine and one count of Possession of Marijuana.
