The Checkers Are Back On The Ice At Bojangles’ Coliseum

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Fans have a lot to look forward to both on and off the ice as the Charlotte Checkers’ 2018/19 season gets underway. The Checkers couldn’t have opened the season much better with 4 wins – all on the road, and are looking to continue this form in front of their fans as the first home games are this Friday and Saturday (October 19 & 20) at Bojangles’ Coliseum.

For Saturday’s game, tickets for kids 12 and under cost just $5 each, and the first 1,500 kids to arrive will receive a FREE kids-sized Checkers jersey! The special kid’s tickets must be purchased online. The Checkers are also raising money for victims of Hurricane Florence, with the help of Samaritan’s Purse.

If you’re hungry at the game, drop by the Red Line Club on the lower level – a full-service restaurant open to all fans. With new food options on this seasons menu, fans will get a chance to see the players up-close as they enter and exit the ice through the restaurant!
